Germaine L. (Dewig) Relleke, 92 passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 surrounded by her family at Horizon Rehabilitation Center in Evansville. 

She was born in Haubstadt on September 11, 1922 to Leo and Catherine "Katie" Dewig. 

Germaine resided in Haubstadt her entire lifetime.  She retired from Whirlpool Corp. in 1986. 

She was a member of St. James Catholic Church and The Altar Society.  She was also a member of The Hornville Home Extension Club.  She enjoyed quilting, traveling, fishing, bowling, Clabber, crafts and spending time with her family.  

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Edward in 1971. Also, 1 sister, Elfrieda Mayer, 3 brothers; Francis, Clarence and Matthew "Bud" Dewig.  

Germaine is survived by 4 daughters; Jalane Relleke (Weber), Patty (Terry) Woehler, Mary Relleke and Cinda "Susie" (Peanut) Titzer.  1 son, Allen (Joanne) Relleke.  10 grandchildren:  Kristan Schmitt, Kimberly Marsh, Kortney Weber, Kendra Weber, Zachary Sawyer, Leslie Woehler, Mandy Relleke, Leah Sawyer, Edward Relleke and Benjamin Relleke.  8 great-grandchildren:  Dawn Bringman, Christopher Reynolds, Allix Reynolds, Taylor Weber, Brea Reynolds, Bailey Martin, Dylan Martin,  Andrew Marsh and 1 step-great-granddaughter, Haley Schmitt.  1 great-great granddaughter, Natalie Bringman and 1 step-great-great grandson, Braxton McCoy.  5 sisters; Carolyn Mingay, Aline Benkert, Betty Weiss, Mary Breivogel and Doris Schmitt.  1 sister-in-law, Dolly Dewig.  Several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 AM Saturday, February 28, 2015 at St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Kenneth Betz as celebrant.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 PM Friday, February 26 at Wade Funeral Home with a Rosary service beginning at 1:30 PM.  Friends may also call from 9:00 AM until Mass time Saturday at the church.
