Sheila Manuel, 47 of Princeton, passed away Feb. 13,
2015 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.
She was born Jan. 12, 1968 in Indianapolis, the
daughter of Clifford and Marion (Lyda) Manuel, who
preceded her in death.
Sheila lived in Princeton all of her life. She worked as a mail carrier for the
U.S. Postal Service. She also worked for many years at the Tri-State Speedway
as the Concession Manager. She graduated from P.C. H.S. in 1986. She loved
animals, took in many strays and was known to give the animals a treat that she
would see on her mail route.
She is survived by her husband Jeremy McDaniel of Princeton; son, Jonathan
Manuel of Princeton; 2 sisters, Retha Taborn of Princeton and Jozell Bagby of Houston, TX; 3 nephews, John Taborn
of Oakland City; La Curtis Taborn of Princeton and
Sean Lyles of Houston TX; 5 great nieces and nephews, 1 great-great nephew, 2
great-great nieces and a host of other family and friends.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015 at the First General
Baptist Church, Hwy 64 East in Princeton, with Elder James Wilkerson and Pastor
Brad Keenan officiating.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday
at the church. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is handling the arrangements.
