JANICE COLLEEN HUNT, 80, of Francisco, passed away
Tuesday, February 24 at Gibson General Hospital.
Colleen was born in Oatsville on March 18, 1934, to
George and Lavada (Watkins) Borders.
On January 20, 1951, she married her childhood
sweetheart, Roy Hunt.
She loved taking care of her family and was a wonderful cook. She passed her
love of animals, especially horses, to her daughters.
Colleen was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
She is survived by daughters, Dawn Phillips (Ken Dowell) of Evansville and Lisa
Grace (Scott Grace) of Francisco, who lived with and cared for her. Also her grandson,
Blake Phillips of Evansville; granddaughter, Jessica Phillips of Campbellsburg;
great-grandchildren, Brody Briner and Brylee Phillips; sister, Judy Foust of
Petersburg; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2015 at the Colvin Funeral
Home in Princeton with Rev. Kirk Horstmeyer
officiating. Burial will follow in the Atkinson Chapel Cemetery in Oatsville.
Visitation will from 1 p.m. until service time Friday
at the funeral home.
