Wayne C. Albrecht, age 62 of Evansville, IN, formally of Fort Branch, IN, passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville on February 13, 2015.

He was born to the late Irvin and Mary (Welton) Albrecht in Vincennes, IN.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Teresa (Fisher) Albrecht of Evansville,IN, 2 daughters Brittany Albrecht of Fort Branch, IN, Kacy (Tim) Selby of Owensville, IN, grandchildren Chantal, Christian, and Clay Selby,brother William Albrecht of Bicknell, IN, niece Amy Albrecht, nephew Jeff Albrecht and a great nephew Wade Albrecht.

Wayne was a member of the Bethel Church in Freelandville, IN. He graduated from North Knox High School in 1971 where he participated in football as #68, track and field, FFA, and attended Boys State. He went to college at Ivy Tech . He formally belonged to the Bicknell Elks lodge and I.B.E.W..  Wayne was retired from Duke Energy after 32 years of service.

Visitation for Wayne will be on Tuesday February 17,2015 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM CST at the funeral home and also on Wednesday February 18,2015 at Bethel U.C.C. in Freelandville, IN from 12:00 PM to 2:00PM EST. Services will be at the church on Wednesday February 18, 2015 at 2:00 PM EST with Pastor Mike DeCoursey officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
