Mitchell Lee “Mitch” Young, 53, of Oakland City, passed away Jan. 1, 2015 at his home.

He was born May 3, 1961 in Evansville to Raymond and Martena Joy “Willis “Young.

Mitch was preceded in death by his parents.

Mitch worked for PSI- Duke Energy for several years.

He is survived by children: Brent Young and Nikki Young both of Evansville; sisters, Michelle Willis of Oakland City, Vickie Hill and Beth Young of Evansville, stepsister Tammy Griffith of Ottumua, Iowa.

Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Thursday January 8, 2015 Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with Rev. Darin D. Nossett officiating.

Visitation will be from noon until services.
