Justin Noah Walters, 25 of Oakland City, passed away
Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015.
He was born Feb. 8, 1989 in Evansville, to Reger Van and Deborah (Woods) Walters.
He worked for Enova Premier in Princeton. He had lived
in Oakland City all of his life and was a member of the McCullough Grove
Baptist Church. He enjoyed camping, fishing, Xbox games, Magic the Gathering
card game and reading. He also helped coach his daughters T-ball team.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Deborah
and Michael Nichols of Muddy, Illinois: daughter, Patience Walters of Oakland
City; fiancée, Kayla Houchin of Oakland City; sister,
Mandy Arnett of Winslow and brother, Todd Walters of Evansville; grandmother,
Mary Jane Woods of Newburgh, 3 nieces, Jaira, Mylee
and Regen Arnett and nephew, Nathan Walters.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Elexis Kay Walters, in June 2009 and father Reger Van Walters in June 2003.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17,
2015 at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City with Rev. Alec Hensley and
Rev. Jacob Frantz officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Lawn Cemetery in
Harrisburg, Illinois where graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday
with Charles Anderson officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday and from
8 a.m. until services Saturday at the funeral home.
