Hazel C. Tempel, 89, of
Princeton, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Gibson General
Hospital, Skilled Nursing Facility in Princeton.
She was born December 28, 1925 in Tell City, Indiana
to the late Jesse and Edith (Graves) Dauby.
She was a homemaker and co-owner of A & T
Concrete. Hazel was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton.
Survivors include one grandchild, J. T. Blaker; a
sister, Jessie Scott of Tell City; a sister-in-law, Betty Kemp; several nieces
and nephews and a special friend, Jeanne Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bass Tempel
in 1970; a daughter, Ann Blaker; brothers, Hubert Dauby, Ralph “Otts” Dauby and John Dauby; a sister,
Rose (Ralph) Reed and a son-in-law, Wade Blaker.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at the Colvin
Funeral Home in Princeton, with Father Ronald Zgunda
officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in
Princeton.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of
service on Tuesday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
