Roselyn Ann (Dickinson) Braselton, 76, passed away
Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.
She was born in Decatur, Illinois on Jan. 24, 1938
daughter of Robert and Floriene (Bickes)
Dickinson.
Roselyn worked for the First National Bank of
Owensville and retired from Fifth Third Bank after serving this community for
38 years. She was an active member of the First General Baptist Church for over
sixty years, currently holding the positions of recording treasurer, Sunday
School Secretary, Board of Christian Education member. She was also treasurer
of Nola Harmeyer Missionary Society and treasurer of
One Day Missionary Convention, along with her sister Paula, established the
primary church for pre-school aged children and guild girls for teenage girls.
Roselyn is survived by her husband of 55 years,
Chester; daughters, Lori Ann Dehut and Gayla Louise Liddle; six
grandchildren, Alex (Sara) Barnett, Margaret Ann Delong, Madelyn Ruth (Matt)
Johnson, Taija and Elise Tepool
and Giobniu Birge; eight
great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty and Paula Dickinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015 at 10
a.m. at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with Bob Douglas and Kevin Miley
officiating. Burial will be in the Owensville Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the
funeral home.
