Jerry
Eugene Wilson age 86, of Princeton, IN passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014
at the Deaconess Hospital Main Campus located in Evansville, IN.
He was born
on November 22, 1928, in Puxico, MO to Albert and Mable Wilson, both of which
have preceded.
He was
painter and also the Managing Supervisor of the Palm Beach County Garage until
retiring and moving to the Gibson county area in 2006 to be closer to his
grandchildren.
On December
10, 1945 he married Carolyn C. Cox, who survives. He is a U.S. Army veteran
serving during the Korean War and was a current member of the American Legion
Post #25 of Princeton.
He is survived by
wife, Carolyn of Princeton, IN, sons; Stan Wilson of Palm Springs, FL, Tommy
(Lisa) Wilson of Lake Worth, FL, daughters; Gwen (Stephen) Meade of Mt Olympus,
IN & Jane Ellen (Keith) Richardson of Acworth, GA.
Other
survivors also include sister, Betty Gamble of Corpus Christi, TX,
grandchildren; Grant and Clint Meade, Frankie Merriam, Michael Wilson &
Trevor Wilson and 7 great grandchildren.
He is
preceded in death by his parents, son; Max Wilson, brother; James Wilson.
Cremation
will take place with a private internment of ashes at a later date.
