Mildred A. Hurt, 85, of Princeton passed away on
Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.
She was born June 27, 1929 in Hazleton to the late
Frank and Allene (Colvin) Jenich.
She had resided in Princeton most of her lifetime and
was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton. She was a retired
group leader at the former Potter & Brumfield Mfg. Co. in Princeton, where
she worked for over 40 years.
Mildred is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gary K. Hurt of Princeton; a
son, Brian K. Hurt of Patoka; 3 grandchildren, Stacey Ivers,
Kelly Hatton and Jamie Burns; and a sister, Delores Gough of Princeton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Debbie Moore.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 29, 2014 at
the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 410 South Race Street in Princeton, with Father
Ronald Zgunda as celebrant. Burial will follow at the
St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Princeton.
Visitation will be from 9 until 10:30 a.m. on Monday
at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.
