Paul M. Anderson, 85, of
Buckskin passed away on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014 at Golden Living-Woodbridge
Nursing Home in Evansville.
He was born Feb. 6, 1929
in Centralia, Illinois to Roger and Etta (Earls) Anderson.
He lived in Buckskin for
most of his life. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was retired from
Sterling Brewery and Ferro Corporation. He was member of the St. John’s Church
of Buckskin.
Paul is survived by his
wife of 61 years, Betty (Sanders) Anderson; children, Kevin (Pam) Anderson of
Newburgh, Eric Anderson of Reed, Ky., and Lisa (Jeff) Harpenau
of Evansville; four grandchildren, Christopher (Lydia) Anderson, Jessica
(Damon) Krometis, Adam and Nicholas Harpenau; a brother Thomas (Thelma) Anderson of California;
sister-in-law Dottie Anderson of Princeton and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in
death by his parents; a son Jeffrey Anderson on July 25, 2013; a
daughter-in-law Valerie Anderson; two brothers Rodger and John Anderson and a
sister Doris Bradfield.
Funeral services
will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014 at St. John’s Church of
Buckskin, officiated by Rev. Jason Ford. Burial will be at St. John’s
Cemetery in Buckskin.
Visitation will be
from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City and
from 9 until service time on Wednesday at the church.
