Naomi Rosemeyer Kruse, 91,
passed away Nov. 22, 2014 at The Waters in Princeton, IN.
She was born Nov. 13, 1923, the daughter of Henry Rosemeyer and Katherine (Kuester)
Rosemeyer.
She was married to Leo Kruse (April 22, 1944) for 67
years before he preceded her death.
Her parents and 2 brothers (Harold & Clarence)
also preceded her in death.
Naomi worked for many years at Potter & Brumfield
and was one of the first women to be trained in Computer Programming. She also
assisted her husband on the family farm. Her interests included Genealogy,
Sewing, Needlepoint, Ceramics, Fishing, & Hunting. She was well-known in
southwestern Indiana for her expertise & knowledge in Genealogy and
published many family genealogical histories. Leo & Naomi enjoyed many
winters in Florida where they built their own house.
Survivors include: a nephew, Don Henry Rosemeyer (Carolyn) of Tucson, AZ; a niece, Laura Belle Rosemeyer Jackson (Max) of Bradenton, FL; great nieces
Jenny Jackson and Daphne Jackson Budreau (Dale);
great great nephew, Brent Budreau;
great great nieces, Leah, Maria, & Kendra Budreau; cousin, Larry Kruse (Teresa); second cousin, Jason
Kruse (Sarah); cousin Diane Kaiser (Van); cousin, David Kuester
(Linda); second cousins, Christopher Kuester (Missy)
& Jonathan Kuester (Seleena);
cousin, Connie Wilson (Jerry); and second cousin Ruth Ann Wilson.
Funeral Services will be at 2 PM on Sunday, November
30, 2014 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Pastor Kevin
Wilson. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Ft. Branch.
Visitation will be from 12-2 PM on Sunday at the
funeral home.
