Mary E. (Bender) Davis, 94, passed away Wed., Nov. 5, 2014 at her residence.

She was born July 1, 1920 in Posey County, daughter of Henry and Cecilia (Angermeier) Bender.

Mary was a homemaker and a graduate of Owensville High School class of 1938. She was a member of the Friendly Circle Club.

Survivors include her children, Jay (Judy), Bill (Sibyl), Sidney (Christine), Karen, Keith, Tim, Dan (Karen) Davis;dauhgter-in-law,Billie(Gerald)Zehner;14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Blankenberger; brothers, Harold and Jim Bender; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Joe on Oct. 24, 2000; son, Don; siblings, Fred, Joe, Benjamin, Ivan Bender and Virginia Beuligmann.

Service will be held on Sat. Nov. 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with Father Tony Ernst as the celebrant. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday Nov. 7, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
