Rebecca J. “Becky” Corne, 89, of Fort Branch, IN, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014 at The Waters in Princeton, IN.

She was born to the late Herbert and Cecil (Hart) Dilbeck on Nov. 7, 1924 in Gibson Co. IN.

Besides her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Corne in 1975, a grandson, Craig Brittingham in Oct. of 2014, and a brother Bill Dilbeck in 2014.

Becky was a member of The Fort Branch General Baptist Church, and was a graduate of Fort Branch High School. She worked as a hairdresser from 1960 until 1998 She is survived by 2 children, Karen Sue (Steve) Kifer of Burleson, Texas, Brenda (Ronald) Sollman of Fort Branch, IN, 3 sisters and 1 brother, Frances Sollman and Nancy Reeves both of Indianapolis, IN, Bernitta Gwaltney of Nashville, TN, and Richard Dilbeck of Fort Branch, IN. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Stephen Kifer, Ann Collins, Rob Brittingham, and Lynnette Swartz, and 10 great grandchildren.

Services for Becky will be on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Stodghill Funeral Home, located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN, Pastor Kyle Powell will officiate with burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
