John W. Summers, 62 of Princeton, passed away Monday,
October 20, 2014 at Blake Medical Center in Bradenton, Florida.
He was born February 19, 1952 in Princeton.
He was retired, having formerly worked at Snap-on
Tools in Mt. Carmel and Whirlpool Corporation in Evansville.
John is survived by his wife, Mary Summers of Princeton; a daughter and
son-in-law, Amanda Summers and Michael Van Vleet of
El Cerrito, California; mother, Rosanna Summers of Princeton; a sister, Gayle Whitler of Princeton; a brother-in-law, Tom Whitten of
Dawson, Texas; sisters-in-law, Judy Whitten of Patoka and Sue Donnelly of
Princeton; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the graveside, 1:15 p.m. Saturday, October 25,
2014, at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Princeton. Burial will follow.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday
at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.
