Gerald A. Schultheis, 81 of
Haubstadt passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Transcendent Healthcare of
Owensville. He was born in Haubstadt on August 16, 1933 to the late
Leonard and Mary Louise (Luhring) Schultheis.
Gerald retired from Whirlpool Corp.
He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic
Church. Gerald was a U.S. Army veteran serving in The Korean
Conflict. Also preceding him in death was his wife, Betty Lou (Bicker) Schultheis in 1970 and a brother Donald Schultheis.
Gerald is survived by one daughter, Darlene Schultheis
of Cynthiana, four sons; Daryl of Haubstadt, Ron of Nashville, TN, Kenny of
Haubstadt and Glenn of Centerton, AR; One grandson,
Joshua Schultheis; two sisters, Janet Will of St. Wendel and June Bates of Haubstadt. Three brothers; Jim of
Evansville, Leon of Cynthiana and Richard of Haubstadt. Several nieces
and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 AM Friday, October 24 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Tony Ernst as
celebrant. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation
will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 AM Friday, Oct. 24 at Sts.
Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
