Phyllis J. Kohlmeier 80 of
Oakland City, IN entered rest on Wednesday at her home surrounded by her loving
family.
She was born on August 23, 1934 in to Edward L &
Ollene (Tisdale) Burkhart.
Phyllis was preceded in death by parents and her
husband Carol Kohlmeier on October 18, 2011.
During her life time Phyllis had worked at NSA where
she was secretary for Neil Armstrong and later worked at Somerville School and
retired from Wood Memorial High School, being secretary for Principal, after 31
years of service.
She was member of Oakland City Church of The
Nazarene, and member of Lynnville Chapter of Eastern Star.
Phyllis is survived by: Daughter: Kimberly Parish of
Mackey, IN; Sons: Chris (Kim) Kohlmeier of Oakland
City, IN and Steven (Vanessa) Kohlmeier of Mackey,
IN; Grandchildren: Brandon and Delaney Kohlmeier of
Oakland City, IN, Brittaney Kohlmeier of Oakland
City, IN, Samantha (Levi) Jordon of Owensville, IN, Heath and Haley Kohlmeier of Mackey, IN and Quinten Parish of Mackey, IN; Great
Granddaughter: Birkleigh Kohlmeier-Collins
and Anistyn Bailey of Oakland City, IN.
Services will be Saturday September 13, 2014 10:00
A.M at the Oakland City
Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Darin D.Nossett will be officiating.
Final resting place be in Townsley
Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Friday at
Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel and from 8:00 AM until services on Saturday at the
Church.
