Terri Lynn Rogers, 55, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

She was born June 6, 1959 in Evansville the daughter of Richard Glenn and Carolyn Sue (Creek) Rogers.

Terri grew up in Owensville, graduated with honors from Gibson Southern High School class of 1977. Following high school she attended college at Indiana State University in Terra Haute where she graduated summa cum laude and received a BA degree in Music education with a BS degree in Music merchandising in 1981. She then lived and worked in Evansville for several years. Terri was an active member of the Maumee General Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing and giving piano lessons, loved her dachshund dogs.

She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Rogers of Owensville, brother, Brian (Karen) Rogers of Seymour; sister, Beth Rogers of Ft. Wayne; nephew Eric Rogers; niece, Marissa Rogers; aunts and uncles, Cinda and Ron Perkins, Mary Katherine Boyle, Bill and Betty Jo Hollis and Ruth Rogers; several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard; nephew, Lee Aaron; grandparents, Ralph and Versa (Garrett) Creek, Narvel and Vada (McConnell) Rogers; uncles, James Rogers and James Boyle.

Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday Aug. 22, 2014 at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with Kevin Miley officiating. Burial at a later date in the Liberty Cemetery in Cynthiana.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the service hour.
