Larry Wayne Robinson, 75, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 at his residence.

He was born in Gibson County on November 26, 1938 the son of Walter Glenn and Zula Mae (Strickland) Robinson.

Larry was a graduate of Poseyville High School class of 1957, served his country in the United States Army and was an over the road truck driver.

He is survived by his wife Shirley (Siebert) Robinson; sons, Steven Ray, Larry Wayne II, Jessie Glenn and Richard Robinson; daughter, Cheryl Robinson; step-children, Keith and Dawn Miller, Dennis and Karen Price, Kathy Miller, Charles and Susie Gardner, Dan and Mandine Miller; 17 Grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Davis, Vonda (Glen) Parker, Angie Robinson; brother, Robert Dale Robinson; several nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, son, Robin Brent Robinson; sister, Mary Jane Field; brother, Alan Kern Robinson.

Services will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with John Matsel officiating. Burial in the Poseyville Cemetery. Military graveside services conducted by the Poseyville American Legion Post 278.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice for the compassionate care they received.
