Michael Eugene McConnell age 61, of Princeton,
passed away Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014 at his residence after a brief illness.
He was born July 30, 1953, in Clinton, to Thomas
& Betty (Burton) McConnell.
He was a
equipment operator with Gibson County Coal and attended the First Christian
Church of Owensville. On June 18, 2011, in Henderson, Kentucky, he was married
to Twilla Frohbieter.
He is survived by his mother, Betty McConnell of
Sebring, Florida; and wife, Twilla McConnell of
Princeton. Other survivors include sons, Michael (Sarah) McConnell of Clinton,
Stephen McConnell also of Clinton, Chris Norton of Princeton and Kevin
(Karissa) Fetcher of Dubois; daughters, Brianna McConnell of Fort Branch and
Tara (Robert) Walls of Petersburg. Other survivors include brother, Tom
McConnell of Clinton; sister, Nancy (Quentin) Ave also of Clinton and 14
grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas.
There will be a time of remembrance for Mike at 2
p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014 at his residence located at 1054 S Old State Road
65 Princeton, with his family and friends. The family invites those that knew
Mike to come participate in this time.
