Lee Roy Keith, 85, of Francisco passed away Tuesday,
Aug. 12, 2014 in Princeton.
He was born March 14, 1929 in Gibson County to
Arthur Jacob and Elsie Naomi (McQueary) Keith.
Lee Roy had lived in Francisco area most of his
life. He owned and operated Keith’s Marathon in Francisco for 42 years. He was
a former member of the Francisco General Baptist Church and had been a member
of the Eagles Lodge #361 for 50 years.
He is survived by his companion of 35 years, Beverly
Harris of Princeton; brother, Billy Ray (Betty) Keith of Golden Valley,
Arizona; three sisters, Elsie Mae Rutledge of Kokomo; Eva Marie (Chester)
Harrison of Eminence, Mossuri; Tina (Dale) Hosmer of Mount Carmel, daughter-in-law, Ruth Wise of
Indianapolis; three granddaughters, Charlee Bailey, Indianapolis; Kendall
Harris and Vanna Harris of Princeton, several nieces
and nephews.
Lee Roy was preceded in death by his parents, infant
sister, Naomi Lee Keith, sister Betty Selby, three
brothers, Tom, Bertis and Jimmy Keith.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16,
2014 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Steve Selby
officiating. Burial will follow in the Decker Cemetery rural Patoka.
Visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m. Friday at the
funeral home.
