James B. “Jim” Hunt, 65, of Owensville passed away Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014 at his home in Owensville.

He was born Nov. 15, 1948 in Evansville to Leo and Eula (McClean) Hunt.

He was a member of the Fort Branch Southern Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Roxanne (McFadden) Hunt of Owensville; four brothers-in-law, Daniel (Martha) McFadden, Roy Sr. (Irma) McFadden, Dennis (Elizabeth) McFadden and Mike Thomas; two sisters-in-law, Polly (Charles) Mason and Donna Moore; several nieces and nephews; two cousins; special friends, Michael (Jeanna) Ferris, Rhonda Crowe and Bill Grubb; and his cat, Jake.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two aunts and an uncle; and his dog, Bear.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Dennis McFadden. Burial will be at the Owensville Cemetery. 

Visitation will be from 3 - 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
