Charles E. Hall, 84, passed away Thursday, Aug. 7,
2014 at his home in Francisco.
He was born on Nov. 1, 1929 in Cannelton,
IN to Edward and Nellie (Gates) Hall who preceded him in death.
He was a United States Army Veteran who served
during the Korean Conflict.
Charles had lived in Francisco since 1956 where he
and his wife Dorothy owned and operated Hall’s Café in Francisco for over 15
years. He was a foreman at Karge’s Furniture Company
for 20 years. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge in Francisco and attended
Francisco General Baptist Church. He collected clocks. He and his wife enjoyed
square dancing and traveling. They had visited 40 of the United States, along
with Mexico and Canada.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy (Linne) Hall of Francisco and a special cousin Maurice Bolin
of Francisco.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday,
Aug. 11, 2014 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Pastor Patrick
Peyton. Burial will be at the Francisco Cemetery in Francisco.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at
the funeral home.
