Thomas W. "Tom" Pauley, 80, of Hazleton
passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton.
He was born on March 22, 1934 in Gibson County to
Waldo and Phavilla (Davidson) Pauley.
He had lived in the Mt. Olympus and Hazleton
community his entire life. He was a farmer and a logger. He drove a school bus
for North Gibson School Corporation for 33 years.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Frieda (McDevitt)
Pauley of Princeton; 3 daughters, Tammy (Tim) Engler
of Princeton; Kim (Brett) Duncan of Princeton; and Cindy (Ron) Whaley of
Hazleton; 5 grandchildren, Talley Engler (Brian) Collins;
Kasey Duncan; Brittany Duncan; Tommy Whaley and Jamee
Whaley; 3 sisters, Mary Betty Arburn of Princeton;
Frances Rudolph of Evansville; and Nancy Martin of Monroe City; several nieces
and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Janet Sanders.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 am on Friday, July 18, 2014 at Colvin
Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Kevin Stiles officiating. Burial will be
at the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mt. Olympus, IN.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 pm Thursday at the
funeral home.
