Marion Beth (Rogers) Key, 92, of Princeton, Indiana
passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton.
She was born May 20, 1922 in Jasonville, IN to
Donald and Florence (Miller) Herod.
Marion retired from Gibson County Bank after over 30
years. She was a member of Hillside United Methodist Church in Princeton, where
she sang in the choir for many years. She was a member of Tri-Kappa and served
on the North Gibson School Board from 1963-1969. Marion was an avid bridge
player and loved to needlepoint and to read.
She is survived by her daughter, Bethany (Greg) Hill of Lexington, KY; son,
Tony (Jane Ann) Rogers of Patoka; step-children, Tim (Sally) Key of Mt.
Pleasant, SC and Michael Key of Evansville; 5 grandchildren, Ryan (Kim)
Hill of Lexington, Matthew (Meryl) Hill of St. Petersburg, FL, Zachary, A.J.
and Leslie Rogers all of Patoka; 5 great grandchildren, Logan, Parker, Meara, Reed and Miles Hill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, John Rogers in 1992;
second husband, Norman Key in 2012; a brother, John Herod and an infant
brother.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at the Colvin
Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Jarmon Perkins. Burial will be in
the Columbia White Church in Princeton.
Visitation will be from 12 until 2 PM on Sunday at
the Colvin Funeral Home.
