Robert L. Haas, 85, of Velpen passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014.

His wife Virginia “Jennie” Nell Givens precedes him in death along with one brother, Leroy Haas and his parents, Henry A. and Rosena (Mehling) Haas.

He is survived by a daughter, Theresa Hathaway of Princeton; three sons, David (Debbie) Haas of Huntingburg, Jerry Haas of Lynnville, Roger W. Brown of Evansville; two sisters, Lucille Kellams of Jasper, Shirley Haas of Velpen; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services for will be held at 10 a.m., Eastern Time, Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City. 

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2-8 p.m., Friday.  A parish rosary service will be prayed at 3 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
