MITCHELL – David Von Woolston, Sr.,
66, passed away at 11:24 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at his residence.
Born April 13, 1948, in
Fort Branch, he was the son of Ennes and Ruby
(Scales) Woolston.
He married Carolyn S.
Hodges July 2, 1966.
He owned Woolston Heating and Cooling and was a 1966 graduate of
Paoli High School. He was a member of the First Church of God and a former
volunteer of the Mitchell Fire Department.
He is survived by his
wife, Carolyn S. Woolston, Mitchell; daughters,
Kimberly D. (Tom) Porter, Mitchell, Holly A. (Greg) Davis, Bedford; son, David
(Paula) Woolston, Jr., Mitchell; grandchildren, Wyatt
Woolston, Willis Woolston,
Alexis Lindsey, Carli, Morgan, and Collin Porter, and Amanda Lemons; siblings,
Betty Shaw of Traverse City, Michigan; Beulah Miller of Daleville, Carol Davis
of Evansville; Donald Woolston of Poseyville,
Kenny Woolston of Morgantown, Judy Buck of
Indianapolis, Denny Woolston of Evansville, Zella Frey of Owensville, and Steve Woolston
of Rockville.
He is preceded in death
by his parents and siblings, Fred, Jerry, Bill, and Bob Woolston,
and Thelma Shaw.
The funeral service will
be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 7, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home
and Cremation Center with Reverend Robert Courson Jr.
officiating. Burial will be Fairview Cemetery in Orleans.

4-8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the service Saturday at the funeral home.
