Joan Wallace, 81 of Princeton, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Deaconess/VNA Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville.

She was born Jan. 29, 1933 in Oakland City to the late Joe and Opal Willis.

She was retired from the former Forest Del Nursing Home in Princeton. She loved bingo, crocheting and bowling.

Joan is survived by her husband of 60 years, Russell R. Wallace Sr. of Princeton; three daughters, Debbie Wilkinson of Mount Carmel, Illinois, Jamie (Tim) Gabbard of Princeton and Jackie (Don) Fisher of Patoka; six grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and a brother, Donnie Willis of Princeton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Ebbie, Eldon, Paul Gene and Jr. Willis; a sister, June Miller and a son, Russell R. Wallace Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Deron Colgan officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 - 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
