Willard “J.R.” Walker, 63, Princeton passed away
Saturday, June 21, 2014 at The Waters of Princeton.
He was born Sept. 16, 1950 in Princeton to Willard
and Addie (Bullock) Walker.
He retired from the City of Princeton Street
Department after 30 years of service. He loved going to French Lick, and
enjoyed fishing. He attended Princeton Holiness Tabernacle.
He is survived by his brother Verl
Walker, Princeton; a sister, Mary Lou Martin, Princeton; several nieces and
nephews and best friend and companion Lena Dyer.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, at
Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Larry Meadows. Burial will
be at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 11
a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
