Barbara Jean Morris, 75, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.

She was born July 28, 1938 in Crofton, Kentucky to the late George and Kathleen (Arnold) Pugh.

She retired from the Princeton Daily Clarion. She attended the Salvation Army Church in Princeton and participated in the Gibson County Senior Center in Princeton. 

She is survived by her 4 children, Patty (Mitchell) Stroud of Evansville, Dale Morris of Princeton, Lisa Morris Suggs of Evansville and Rhonda Morris of Patoka; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Joyce Burchett of Crawfordsville, Indiana; 2 nephews and 3 nieces. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Nina Williams; a brother, Owen Pugh; a niece, Sherri Williams and a son-in-law, Billy Suggs. 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Captain Jonathan Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday at Colvin Funeral Home.
