James R. Kissel,
59 of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at St. Mary’s
Hospital in Evansville, IN.
He was born to the late Clarence
and Rosella (Schmits) Kissel
on Aug. 10, 1954 in Princeton, IN.
He was a member of the Holy Cross
Catholic Church in Fort Branch, IN. James worked at G.C.A.R.C. in Princeton, IN
since 1963. He never met a stranger and was very friendly to everyone he
met. Jimmy collected horses and Indian statues as his hobby.
He is survived by his 2 brothers
and 1 sister, David Kissel of St. Henry, IN, Roy (Cruzan)
Kissel of Norris City, IL, and Mary Ann (Lee) Siebert
of Knoxville, TN. He is also survived by 3 nieces and 7 nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will
be conducted on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic
Church in Fort Branch, IN, Fathers Tony Ernst and Brian Emmick
will be Co-celebrants. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery in Snake
Run, IN.
Visitation will be on Tuesday,
June 17, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home and again from
9:00 AM until service time at the church on Wednesday.
