Helen L. Heshelman
"Mrs. H." or "Grandma H.", 77 of Princeton, passed away
Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at The Waters of Princeton.
She was born September 1, 1936 in Odon, Indiana to
the late Floyd and Goldia Mae (Jackson) Chestnut.
She had resided in Princeton since 1986 coming from
Loogootee, Indiana. She attended the First United Methodist Church in Princeton
and was a member of the Moose auxiliary.
She is survived by a daughter, Diana K. (Dennis) Abel of Princeton; a son,
Ronald Gene (Judy) Heshelman of Mitchell, Indiana;
five grandchildren, Phillip (Amy) Abel and John (Brandy) Abel all of Princeton,
Kristen, Haley and Jake Heshelman all of Mitchell;
two sisters, Georgia Swafford and Carol Kirk both of Columbus, Indiana; two
brothers, Carl Chestnut of Odon and Roger Chestnut of Washington, Indiana; and
a very good friend, Linda Truxel of Princeton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Carlos Heshelman
in 1983 and a sister, Darlene Biendenkopf.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. (EDT) Monday, June 30, 2014 at
Sugarland Memory Gardens in Washington, Indiana, with burial to follow.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. (CDT) Sunday
at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.
