May M. Green, 85, of Oakland City, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at her home in Oakland City.

She was born November 25, 1928 in Gibson County to John David and Pansy (Norrick) Ash.

She was a member of the Greater Grace Apostolic Church. May was very giving to the Salvation Army, cancer organizations, and disabled veteran organizations. 

She is survived by daughter Tammy (Paul) Twigg of English, IN; son Darrell (Heather) Green of Oakland City, IN: 7 grandchildren, Tiffaney Saltsgaver, Jared Tyring, Brandon Green, Jamie Green, James Blevins, Adam Blevins, Matt Blevins; and 11 great grandchildren, Austin, Bailey and Cody Saltsgaver, Izzabell and Abigail Tyring, Jackson Baker, Sylvia Henson, Addison, Alex and Carter Blevins, and Julia Green; a step-sister, Jessie Adamson and step-brother, John Jarvis. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 66 years, Virgil Ray Green, who died on April 23, 2013; 2 brothers and 1 sister. 

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. (CST) Tuesday July 1, 2014 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, with Pastor Jason Clark officiating. Burial will be at the Williams Cemetery in Pike County.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
