Richard “Red” Byerly, son of Lenza Byerly of Patoka, and the late Clara Wright Byerly was born in Patoka Dec.13, 1952.  

He was united in marriage to Patricia Williams Byerly of London, Kentucky who survives. 

He is also survived by two daughters, Leah Moody and husband Troy of Hazelton and Johanna Byerly of London. By five sons, Jonathan Byerly, Aaron Byerly, Jakob Byerly, Zack Byerly and Elijah Byerly all of London. By one sister, Karen McDaniels of Princeton. By one brother, Mikeal Byerly of Hazelton.  By eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren.

Besides his mother, he was also preceded in death by one son, Matthew Byerly and by two sisters, Vickie Macintire and Cheryl Clark.  

He was of the Pentecostal Faith and a Construction Worker.

Richard “Red” Byerly departed this life Saturday, May 31, 2014 being 61 years, 5 months, and 18 days of age.

Graveside services and burial for Richard “Red” Byerly were conducted Monday, June 2, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Lickliter Cemetery in London, Kentucky.
