Mary Anna (Niemeier) Sandleben, 79, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014 at VNA Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville surrounded by her
family.
She was born in Posey County on Feb. 12, 1935 to
Martin F. and Dorothy (Will) Niemeier.
She was a homemaker and retired after 28 years from
Indian Industries (Now Escalade). Mary Anna enjoyed crocheting,
embroidering and praying for others.
She was a member of Sts.
Peter and Paul Catholic Church and a life member of The Blessed Virgin Mary
Altar Society. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Daniel L. Sandleben and her parents.
Mary Anna is survived by her two sons, Eugene F.
Silver of Evansville and Joseph W. Silver of Haubstadt. Two sisters, Edna Mae
Keller and Rita J. (Larry) Neumann of Evansville. One brother, Anthony M.
(Anita) Niemeier of Lakewood, California. Beloved
nieces & nephews, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m.
Wednesday, May 21 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic
Church with Fr. Tony Ernst as celebrant. Burial will follow in the church
cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 - 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 20 at
Wade Funeral Home with a Rosary service beginning at 4 p.m. Friends may also
call from 10 a.m. until Mass time Wednesday at the church.

devoted care of Mary Anna.
