Clarence A. (CA) Manning, Jr. 84, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014 at VNA Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville.

He was born Feb. 10, 1930 in Evansville the son of Clarence Allen and Ella Moreen (Hancock) Manning.

CA graduated from Owensville High School was a salesman for Hulman and Company and owned and operated Manning’s Oak Grove Market. He was a member of the Poseyville Masonic Lodge #632.

Survivors include a sister, Phyllis (Rolland) Eckels; sister-in-laws Grace Johnson, Virginia Field, Joyce (Charles) Mair and Jane Richardson; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Geraldine Manning; brother, Jerry Manning.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with Bob Douglas officiating. Burial will be in the Poseyville Cemetery. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the service time at the funeral home.
