Viona
J. Bright 93, of Princeton, passed away peacefully at Gibson General Hospital
in Princeton.
She was born to Eugene and Daisy (Rice) Lock on Sept.
25, 1919 in Vevey.
Viona
was retired from Mid-states Rubber in Princeton, after 28 years of service and
was a member of the Fort Branch Wesleyan Church.
Besides her parents Viona
is also preceded in death by her husband, Graham Bright on Oct. 20, 2000, and
five brothers Walter, Albert, Lee, Chet, and Leslie Lock; two sisters, Mabel
Cutter, and Annie Bouta.
She is survived by two children, Constance J.
(Glenn) Brooks of Princeton, and Chip (Marilyn) Bright of Fort Branch. She is
also survived by four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a great-great
grandchild.
A graveside service will be conducted Sunday, May
11, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch. Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch is in charge of
arrangements.
