Alvetta
Rose (Parker) Ricker, 79, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 at Gibson General
Hospital.
She was born Aug. 19, 1934 in Gibson County the
daughter of Lloyd Tudy Johnson and Rosemary (Riley)
Parker.
Alvetta
worked as a beautician in Owensville, was a clerk for Gibson County Assessors office in Princeton In, manager of TWL retail in
Forest Mississippi and also managed ROC 1 Shell in Eddyville, Ky.
Surviving children are Harvey Rick (Mary Ann)
Ricker Jr of St. Francisville, Julia (Sis) Perkins of
Ft. Wayne, Robert Bob (Beth) Mair, Charles Chod (Debbie) Mair, Joey (Ellen)
Ricker all of Owensville, Jon (Susan) Ricker of Evansville; grandchildren,
Alissa Ricker, Cathy (Ricker) (Jeremy) Hall, Beth Ann (Ricker) (Jason) Pethtel, Serenity (Spidel) (Gabe)
Caudill, Tana (Spidel)
McCullough, Chad Mair, Joshua, Leslie, Tyler,
Tristan, Trevor, Dakota (Lory), Roman, Chasity
Ricker, Ashley (Brad) Davis and McKenzie Mair; eight
great-grandchildren; brother, Mike (Jane) Parker of Haubstadt; sister, Charlotte
Warren of Morton Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband
Harvey R. Ricker, brothers Charlie Ben, Gerald and Kenneth Parker; sister,
Karen Rickard.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday,
April 24 at Holder Funeral Home in Owensville with Bart Newton officiating.
Burial will be in Clark Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Thursday
until service time at Holder Funeral Home.
