Jerry W. “Squeak” Heaton, 65 passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Deaconess Hospice Care Center in Evansville.

He was born Oct. 31, 1948 in Linton, IN to A. M. “Squeak” and Wilma (Stalcup) Heaton. 

He was retired from Prestco Tech Factory in Evansville. He could be seen for many years working for Crickett’s and the Palace. He graduated from Switz City High School. Then he later served in the U.S. Navy. 

He is survived by his mother, Wilma Heaton of Linton; brother, Bill and wife Sara Heaton of Princeton; and sister, Brenda and husband Harvey Hicks of North Carolina, 3 nieces, 1 nephew and 7 great nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father A.M. “Squeak” Heaton. 

There will be a gathering of family and friends to celebrate and remember “Squeak’s” life from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014, at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.
