Mary Elma (Hunt) Elliott 95 formerly of Oakland City, entered into rest on Tuesday April 8, 2014 at Amber Manor Care Center in Petersburg, IN.

She was born on September 25, 1918 in Princeton, IN to Scott & Mattie (Whiting) Hunt.

She was a graduate of Mt .Olympus High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Curt Elliott whom she married on June 29, 1940, brothers Scottie and Jess Hunt and granddaughter, Tiffani Fisher Thomforde.

Elma was a long time member of Oakland City Church of The Nazarene.

She is survived by daughters: Marti Elliott – Indianapolis, IN, Carol (Tom) Fisher – Petersburg, IN, Paula Elliott – Chicago, IL, Mary Ann (Larry) Eckman – Nashville, TN; grandchildren: Scott (Anne) Erny and Richard Erny – Indianapolis, IN, Matthew (Kaci) Fisher – Nashville, TN; great grandchildren: John, Jack and Regan Erny and Hudson Fisher; grand-son-in-law: David Thomforde.

Services will be 10:00 AM Friday April 11, 2014 at the Oakland City Church of The Nazarene with Rev. Darin D. Nossett officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery near Hazleton, IN.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. CST on Thursday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel and from 9:00 AM until services on Friday at the church.
