Nina (Murrell) Doyle age 75, of Princeton passed
away Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Transcendent Healthcare Facility located
in Owensville.
She was born March 15, 1939, in Crab Orchard, Ky. to
Felix and Martha (Neal) Murrell, both having preceded her in death.
She was an area resident since 1958 moving here from
her hometown of Crab Orchard, Ky. She worked at the Princeton Water Dept.
before becoming a Title 1 Aide for both the North Gibson School Corporation and
also for St. Joseph elementary schools. After retiring as an aid she worked at
the former Kmart and then most recently the Wal-Mart jewelry dept. in
Princeton.
She was a member of the Oakland City Church of the
Nazarene and was until her recent illness a Sunday school teacher at her
church.
She is survived by one son, Barrett W. (Jan) Doyle
of Princeton, and one daughter, Vanessa (Steve) Kohlmeier
of Mackey.
She is also survived by sisters; Della Meeks of
Princeton, and Hilda (Bill) Kidd of Shelbyville, Ky.
Survivors also include 11 grandchildren; Samantha
(Levi) Jordan of Owensville, Haley & Heath Kohlmeier
of Oakland City, Kaytlyn (Travis) Gray of Oakland
City and Christian, Corban, Kanaan, Colson, Karmyn, Caedmon and Seth Doyle all of Princeton.
Other survivors include Sister in-laws; Jean Murrell
of Fla., Laura Murrell of Nev., Geneva Murrell of Oakland City, and brother
in-law, Hal Conklin, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, three
brothers; Felix, Henry & Homer Murrell, four sisters; Edna Sowder, Loie Foister,
Hester Conklin, Eloise Wardlow.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 15, 2014
at 7 p.m. at Doyle Funeral Home located at 520 S. Main St., Princeton, IN 47670
with Pastor Darin Nossett officiating.
Internment will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday April 16, 2014 at Mt. Zion
Cemetery located in Crab Orchard, Ky.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 3
p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m.
