Peter Bajzath Jr 91 of Oakland City passed away Friday, April 18, 2014 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City.

He was born Aug. 25, 1922 in Tiszavakony, Hungaria to Peter and Veronika (Kovacs) Bajzath.

Peter was preceded in death by wife Anna on March 1, 2001. 

He is survived by daughter, Pauline (David) Dalton of Oakland City; sons, Victor (Rhonda) Bajzath of Huntingburg, Peter Bajzath III of Princeton, Joseph (Anna M.) Bajzath of Spurgeon, John (Carol) Bajzath of Oakland City, Lossie (Ellen) Bajzath of Chesterfield, Mo.; eight grandchildren a step-grandson; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a sister in the ole Country.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place Tuesday April 22, 2014 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday and at from 8-9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel.
