Maude Evelyn (Green) Wilson, 87, of Somerville went
to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Good Samaritan Home in
Oakland City.
She was born February 17, 1927 in Somerville to
Claude and Celia (Newkirk) Green.
She enjoyed playing the keyboard and singing with
her husband for Jesus. Our loss is heaven’s gain.
She is survived by 2 sisters, Mary McGillem of
Princeton and Martha Graves of Frankfort, IN; 3 brothers, Ronald of Oakland
City, Claude of Somerville and Manson of Princeton; and several nieces and
nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dana Wilson; 2 sisters, Ruth
O’Neal and Esther Green; and 8 brothers, Clarence, Ralph, Jim, Denver, Danny,
David, Paul Eugene and Lanson Green.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday April 1, 2014 at Corn-Colvin
Funeral Home in Oakland City, officiated by Rev. Phillip Newton. Burial will be
at the Somerville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until service time on
Tuesday at the funeral home.
