Ruth Ann Riddle, 72, of Oakland City, passed away Sunday March 16, 2014 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.

She was born on August 13, 1941 in Ayrshire to Bud & Maxine (Davis) Sims. 

Ruth retired from U.S. Postal Service as a Mail Carrier.

Was preceded in death by parents and daughter Nyla Morton in April 2013

She is survived by daughters Cindy Dye of Oakland City and Tresa Kaufman of Pacific, Mo. Sisters: Doris Blake of Oakland City, Mary Lou Shelby of Owensville, Carol Sims of St. Louis, Mo. Brothers; Rick and Rob Sims of St. Louis, Mo.

Eight grandchildren 16 great-grandchildren.

Celebration of life services will be Saturday, March 29, 2014 2 p.m. at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from noon until services.
