Timothy Wayne Memmer, 41, passed away Tuesday, March
25, 2014 as a result of an accident at Gibson County Coal rural Princeton.
He was born Sept. 20, 1972 in Princeton to James D.
and Loretta (Brown) Memmer.
He was a coal miner at Gibson County Coal and was a
Union Millwright. He received an Associate Degree in Applied Sciences from Ivy
Tech and completed four years internship with the Millwrights and was a member
of Millwright Union Local 1076. He loved to ride his Harley whenever he could.
He is survived by his parents, James D. and Loretta
Memmer of Princeton; a son, Jacob Memmer of Vincennes; two brothers, Mike (Pam)
Memmer and Robert Memmer, both of Princeton; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother,
Norma Brown Miskell and paternal grandmother, Frieda
A. Memmer.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29,
2014 at Oasis Assembly of God, 1104 S. Stout St. in Princeton, with Rev. Scott
Burr officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 until 8 p.m. Friday at the
Colvin Funeral Home 425 N. Main St. Princeton and from 10 a.m. until service
time Saturday at the church.
