Juanita R. Evans, 88, of Oakland City, Indiana passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at her home in Oakland City.

She was born December 11, 1925 to John and Margaret (Gilmour) Dunn.

She was a member of New Life Tabernacle. 

She is survived by her seven children: Marcia Stone of New Bloomington, OH; Susan Muhlenkamp of Ft. Collins, CO; Ray Evans of Evansville, IN; Carletta Marshall of Petersburg, IN; Arletta Holder of Oakland City, IN; Kathy Harris of Elberfeld, IN and Kent Evans of Petersburg, IN; two sisters: Betty Meyer and Helen McCullough; two brothers: Eugene Dunn and Donnie Dunn; 15 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth “Kip” Evans in 1992 and her parents. 

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, with Rev. Patrick Payton officiating. Burial will be at the Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
