Paul L. Caldemeyer 80 of Oakland City, IN entered rest on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

He was born on July 16, 1933 in Pike County to Rudolph & Marie (Wheeler) Caldemeyer. 

Paul was a retired Coal Miner from Peabody Lynnville Coal Mine also member of U.M.W.A.

 He was a 55 year member of Patoka Grove United Methodist Church.

Surviving is his wife of years 56 Connie (Tisdale) Caldemeyer; Daughters:  Cindy (Rick) Grisham of Haubstadt, IN, Pamela (Michael) Gore of Annapolis, MD, Jeanne (Johnny) Lee of Oakland City, IN; Brothers: John Caldemeyer of Winslow, IN and Mark Caldemeyer of Princeton, IN; Sisters: Pauline Wright of Princeton, IN and June Carroll of FL; Grandchildren: Jonathan, Joshua, Lacey, Aaron (Kristen), Caleb (Cindy), Ashley (Kevin), Christina, Heather and Adam.

Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday March 8, 2014 at Patoka Grove United Methodist Church with burial in Williams Cemetery. Rev. Larry Stoops will be officiating.   

Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until services on Saturday. Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel is assisting family.
