Vicki Lynn (Akers) Willis 66 of Oakland City, IN entered rest on Sunday February 2, 2014 at  Deaconess Hospital.

She was born on February 4, 1947 in Princeton, to Elvin Ray & Virginia (Ivy) Akers.

Vicki was a member of Francisco Gospel Ministry Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Earl and Jessie Akers a sister Bonnie June Hamer.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was loved by all whom was lucky to have known her. She loved going to yard sales, flea markets, and antiquing and collecting dolls.  Vicki loved spending time with family and close friends.  She will be dearly missed by all.  

Surviving are her husband of 47 years: Gary Willis; Son, Todd Willis of Francisco, IN; Granddaughter: Jessica Willis of Francisco, IN; Brothers: Burl (Connie) Akers of Evansville, IN, Jim (Deanie) Akers of Francisco, IN; Special friend: Earline Rode of Francisco, IN 

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday February 6, 2014 Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with burial in Forsythe Cemetery. Rev. Bob McDonald will be officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and from 8:00 AM until services on Thursday.
