Wm. Dean Solliday, 57, of
Patoka passed away on Monday, February 17, 2014 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital
in Newburgh.
He was born on February 24, 1956 in Washington, IN
to William Jackson and Marilyn (Kirk) Solliday.
He graduated from Washington High School in 1974. He
attended the Christian Church in Washington. He moved to Patoka is 1982. He
retired from Duke Energy in 2012 after 30 years in the mechanical maintenance
department. He loved animals, camping, fishing, hunting and going to shooting
matches.
Dean is survived by his wife who he married on August 5, 1978, Beth (Williams) Solliday of Patoka; his mother and stepfather Marilyn and
Chick Lents; brother Dennis Solliday; sisters Denise
Barnard and Debbie (Brant) Clark; mother-in-law and father-in-law Willis and
Dorothy Williams all of Washington; 4 sisters-in-law; 3 brothers-in-law;
several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father William Jackson Solliday.
There will be no visitation or services. The Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton
is handling the arrangements.
