Malcolm Ray McKinney, 69 passed away Wed. Feb. 12,
2014 at the Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, IN.
He was born in Oakland City, Sept. 22, 1944 to
Raymond Roy and Cletis Mae (Copeland) McKinney.
He had worked for Whirlpool for a short time. He served in the U.S. Army during
the Vietnam War. He was living in Princeton and lived several years in
Evansville and was formerly of Oakland City. He graduated from Oakland City
High School and attended Vincennes Junior College.
He is survived by a son, Michael Verdayne (Loral)
McKinney of Princeton and daughter, Linda Sue (Mike) Collins of Oatsville, 2 sisters, Helena Mae Jenkins, Princeton and Oleva Ruth Butcher of Oakland City and 4 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Rosetta Irene Graham, Amie
Fern Sims, Leota June Marshall, Roberta Lee Thompson
and Leatrice Joy Ingle.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday Feb. 15, 2014 at the Corn-Colvin
Funeral Home in Oakland City, with Pastor Dave Pry officiating. Burial will
follow in the Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time on
Saturday at the funeral home.
